Science Does not Need the Naturalistic Axiom |
||
| Removing the naturalistic axiom from allows science to always
arrive at the right answer -even if a designer was involved in creation. But allowing the
possibility of design creates a dilemma. There is no way for science to directly test a
theory that involves a designer. If a designer exists, he may decide that he does not want
to participate in the experiment. Thus, scientific experiments have traditionally been
restricted to testing, observing, and interpreting naturalistic processes. Fortunately,
there is a way around this problem. It relies on type of indirect logic - known as
contrapositive logic. home: Intelligent Design or Evolution? next: contrapositive logic
